Chris Spivey

The World Put Right

Chris Spivey.

On January 19, 2013 I released my article The Crook Report, which was based around a Daily Mail article reporting on the release of the Operation Yewtree Report.

The report, if you can call it that, was compiled jointly by the Metropolitan Police and the NSPCC. The following is what Peter Watt, the NSPCC’s Director of Child Protection Advice and Awareness told the Daily Mail:

‘The sheer scale of Savile’s abuse over six decades simply beggars belief.

‘He is without doubt one of the most prolific sex offenders we have ever come across and every number represents a victim that will never get justice now he is dead.

‘But with this report we can at least show his victims that they have been taken seriously and their suffering has been recognised.’

I was so incensed by that statement, given the reports contents, that I prematurely broke the story of  the Terrorist, Hein Grosskopf being employed by the NSPCC as senior Management in charge of a team of Grief Councillors.

The more I have been told about this outrage, the more obvious it has become that Grosskopf – who murdered at least 7 innocent people – was employed by the charity to make sure that no details of sexual abuse carried out by high profile paedophiles would ever be allowed to leak out. I will remind you of what the NSPCC Whistle-blower ‘Sue’ told me:

Just so as you know, for if and when you need to use it. Hein stopped (name removed by Spivey) and i working with three children who were disclosing organised sexual abuse. He had clearly been told to stop us because we had been working with them for over six months and he hadn’t had a problem with it until we started getting very close to uncovering offenders in high places.

He didn’t just ask us to start to wind it down, we literally went in to work one day, and he told us we hadn’t to contact any of  the children or the families or their social workers again. We were stunned, at the time it just didn’t make any sense at all. We tried to argue it, when we got nowhere, we said at least let us speak to the children to tell them we cant work with them any more but we were forbidden, he said he and a social worker were going to tell the families.

I went to him to try to explain that these children had trusted us and that it was so detrimental to them to be treated in this way. He got angry, which was actually uncharacteristic of him, he said for christ sake, just drop it you are like a dog with a bone! Actually, He even wrote that i was like a dog with a bone in my appraisal .

As I say, I prematurely broke the story because of the Outrage I felt at Peter Watt’s statement. Knowing what I do about Savile, which Watt must also know, his statement was phoney, condescending, smarmy, outrageous and an insult to child abuse victims everywhere

However, most of all, the contents of his statement made it crystal fucking clear to me that the NSPCC are actively participating in the massive cover up operation that is Operation Yewtree. Moreover, the same had also become obvious to the whistle -blower ‘Sue’.

The following is what she had to say on Watt along with some information on the pathetic excuse of a man. I have nothing more to add at this moment in time, except to say that this outrage must not be allowed to go away:

Who are these experts entrusted to investigate, report and achieve justice for victims caught up in these outrageous child sex abuse scandals?

Peter Watt, NSPCC Director of Child Protection Advice and Awareness, co-author of the report with the Detective Superintendent David Gray, Operation Yewtree’s Senior Investigating Officer.

Even the name of the ‘report’ into the allegations against Savile disturbs me. “Giving Victims a Voice.” Victims have a voice, and over decades, many used theirs to report sexual abuse by Savile and his paedophile friends but they were subsequently silenced or ignored.

What kind of people believe they can give victims, a voice? Perhaps the kind of people that know they can just as easily make that voice go away if it suits them to do so. One of the key things that needed to come out of the report, but doesn’t, was clear and honest information about previous reporting of concerns and what were the reasons why absolutely nothing had been done during Savile’s life time to protect children in their hundreds from being sexually abused.

Immediately there appears to be a conflict of interest with Peter Watt co-authoring this report because of his current position as Director of Child Protection, within the NSPCC. The NSPCC clearly being one of the organisations that may indeed have some very serious questions to answer about some very serious child protection failings. Not withstanding the fact that Peter Watt’s role includes heading up the Help Line.

Looking at Peter Watt’s career history on Wikileaks it becomes even more incredulous that this man was picked for this task and equally as incredulous as to how he got appointed to this snr position within the NSPCC at all. Although according to the Telegraph he does have experience of heading machines, and they described him as ‘head of the Labour party machine.”

Peter Watt had a very brief stint as a nurse prior to beginning work for the Labour party in 1996. Was appointed General Secretary of the Labour Party in 2005. Forced to resign in 2007 because of the Donorgate affair after failing to comply with reporting requirements. He faced the possibility of criminal charges however in 2012 the CPS decided there was insufficient evidence to charge. He then went on to become Chief Executive of a Campaign Company and then spent a few months as Chief Executive of a charity for old people. In 2011 the same year he wrote a piece for the Labour Party entitled Building a party for the future he was appointed Director of Child Protection for the NSPCC.

Er, how does one get to become Director of Child Protection for the NSPCC with precisely no previous experience of child protection at all and a blighted career history like his?

Sod the child protection experience, or the training and skills required to carry out complex, highly sensitive investigations into child sex abuse. He works for the NSPCC no one will question his credentials! And even if they do we’ll just ignore them. After all with his relevant experience heading powerful machines he’s just perfect for wheeling out to investigate previous investigations/cover ups into child sex abuse. “Give that man the top job and put him in charge of the helpline as well.” “You ok with that Mandelson?”

Early and family life

From 1989 to 1992 Watt trained as a nurse at a predecessor institution to Bournemouth University, then worked for Poole Hospital NHS Trust.[1][2]

He is married and the father of five children as well as a foster carer.

[3]

[

edit] Labour Party

From 1996 he worked for the Labour Party, first as a local organiser for Battersea and Wandsworth, then in Labour Party head office on election delivery and recruitment and then as Regional Director of the Eastern region. In 2004 he gained a Professional Certificate in Management from the Open University.[1]

He returned to the Labour Party head office as Director of Finance and Compliance in 2005, a role that bridges legal and financial party issues and also usually includes a tacit role of enforcing party discipline and sorting out internal disputes. Viewed as loyal to the party leadership, he has on occasion come into conflict with the

trade union movement over party policy and organisation, especially apparent at the Labour Party Conference in 2005.

Watt was appointed as General Secretary by the Party’s National Executive Committee on 7 November 2005. He was not the candidate favoured by Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Tony Blair,[4] but won the NEC vote by some margin.[5][6]

BBC News reported that he resigned as General Secretary on 26 November 2007 and he was quoted as saying that he knew about an arrangement by which one individual,

David Abrahams, had made a number of donations to the Labour Party through third parties without the fact that he was ultimate donor being reported. He said that he had not appreciated that he had failed to comply with the reporting requirements.[7][8] Watt revealed he had known about the arrangement for about a year.[9] In May 2009 the Crown Prosecution Service decided there was insufficient evidence for any prosecution relating to these events.[10][11][12]

[

edit] Later career

From March 2008 to December 2010 Watt was Chief Executive of The Campaign Company, a Croydon based communications consultancy.

In January 2010, Watt published the book Inside Out describing his experiences as a senior Party official and his time as General Secretary of the Party, which were serialised in the Mail on Sunday.[4][13][14]

In November 2010 it was announced that he would become the Chief Executive of the older people’s charity

Counsel and Care[15] from 1 February 2011.

On 26 September 2011, Peter joined the NSPCC as Director of Child Protection, Advice and Awareness, on the NSPCC Executive Board.[16] In this role, he is responsible for leading the NSPCC’s work to raise awareness of and increase support for child protection among the general public and key adult audiences. His role includes being Head of the NSPCC’s Helpline.[17]

In September 2011, Peter Contributed to

What next for Labour? Ideas for a new generation, his piece was entitled ‘Building a party for the future’.[18]

    Morning Chris.

The Yewtree report stated that there was no clear evidence that Savile was part of a paedophile ring, which we all know is bollox. Read these articles by The Real Whitby. They have clear evidence that he was part of a ring and thats only in Yorkshire!

I pity people that read that report and believe it!

Thank you for this article. The NSPCC is obviously just a wing of the government , and jobs there are given out under the government’s patronage. Why else would Peter Watt or Peter Mandelson be let anywhere near the NSPCC? I conclude that the NSPCC is not an independent charity at all. Peter Watt must have got the job because of his contacts – he is wholly unqualified and has no relevant experience.

It reminds me of Jimmy Savile’s mate, Alan Franey. Franey who got the job as boss of Broadmoor seemingly without any relevant qualifications or experience in mental health at all, but that did not stand in his way. With Savile behind him, he got the job anyway.

    What’s going on?

Sorry, but I couldn’t read the PIE report stuff, I don’t have the stomach for that sort of thing. But thank you for publishing it for braver souls than I.
I have been reading your blog, and others (the needle blog, tap, slog et al), for months now.
Thanks to you all I woke up….Yawned… wiped the sleep from my eyes.
I cancelled my subscription to the Times many weeks ago. But hey, their marketing department rang me recently asking if I’d like to re- subscribe at a cheaper rate, I declined the offer. I was then asked by a very polite young man (posh) how I received news…. To be fair, he was a nice young man, and I replied that I sourced my news from the Internet.
Chris, please keep up your campaign against the vile bastards, you have lots of supporters and we’re all here with you.
But please keep yourself and your family safe.
As I said earlier, I cancelled my subscription to the Times because I felt I was treated as as a mushroom ” kept in the dark and fed shite”.
Thanks again ….. but that NSPPC stuff….. Cheeze an Rice….. ya couldn’t make it up! it’s all gone away….. how ?
    Stay safe, much love x

  4. Pauline Barten. Says:

When i first read about Grosskopf in your blog, i felt physically sick. All that friday i was in tears and i had a very bad day. I had disclosed about organised child abuse to NSPCC in 2002, in the years he was working for them.I had even described them as the heroes in my story on twitter. This is because i could not get the police to give me the time of day.If it was not for the NSPCC and social services i would not even have been heard. My initial contact at the NSPCC was a fine woman who i believe then and still now was doing good work for child protection.I was stopped from this contact, i do not know why. However she did try to get me protection for the death threats and threats of violence i faced daily at some points.I never got any protection.I was a pariah in the neighbourhood.I started to tell people why i was being targeted a caseworker from NSPCC told me not to.I ignored this advice because i wanted people to know i had done nothing wrong.Naively i assumed when people knew it was about a child abuse ring things would be different.Change did happen the intimidation and threats got worse.I had to leave my place of work because of bullying and threats, doing the right thing cost me everything. My boyfriend at the time who is now my husband and moved house a couple of times thinking this would help, it didn’t.I had a lot of dust ups with police and NSPCC workers. My police interviews were not kept confidential, i complained about this at the time. When a male police officer yelled at me i yelled back, i didn’t know i had it in me.I was treated very badly and i have not recovered to this day.The police did try in 2006 to stop the stalking, they would not let people sit outside my home in cars for hours at a time anymore. All the agencies believed my account and called me a credible wittness.I went through hell to acheive that, i still bear the scars. There were some good things to come out of the investigation that had nothing to do with my disclosures.I always felt and indeed said the problem is not at the lower end of the authorities it’s at the top.I feel vindicated by your research now. I am devastated that this is the case.We had to leave England in 2007, i had spoken truth to power and they did not like it. I wanted to work and found it not possible. The heavy harassment never stopped, but a ministers secretary told me anything i do to protect myself is seen as proactive and boy will i know about it. Yes i am now proactive i got fed up of being bullied.I respect what you do, you have the story.I think you are the bravest person in the world and i do not say that lightly. One last thing it was not Nottinghamshires Police finest hour, but some brave officers put themselves on the line for me.You see there is good and bad in everything.

I only hope they find the courage to come out of the wood work now to try to prevent more lives being ruined.

And YOU are truly brave for telling your story Pauline and for the strength you have obviously shown in enduring all you have. Let’s hope Chris and the Social workers can get someone to listen, I think we can all see what’s going on here, and it’s another ugly cover up. I hope you have found some peace, sounds like you’ve been through hell.
The mainstream medias reluctance to take this on shows that they can’t be trusted either – if this was any other issue, they’d be falling over themselves to get an exclusive, with such indisputable evidence. There are so many bloggers out there digging up things that the mainstream haven’t even bothered to search their archives for, or don’t want to. what the hell is this world coming to – the most evil people holding all the cards.

  17. Steve Says:

During the 1990s, BBC 2 ran a series about the “terrorist groups” of the 1970s and 80s with in depth interviews with several ex members. The guy from the Red Brigade in Italy made it plain that the following occurred. They were infiltrated, quite early on during their existence and that, in the end, they were, more often than not, killing people at the behest of the CIA. That includes the murder of the ex Italian PM Moro, who was, supposedly, about to go public with the details of some high level corruption.

In the same series, the original accusations about the part the CIA played in the so called “Belgian supermarket shootings” was aired as well. Now, taken alone one might say, Well, it’s just the word of a convicted terrorist and a conspiracy theory. Except that, the History Channel’s documentary “NATO’s Secret Armies”, repeated the self same accusations and added further detail to them, this time, from ex “covert op” people from the CIA.

Given that, I would suspect that this Grosskopf character might well be cut from the same cloth and actually have been working for some shadow organisation seeking to blacken sic, the name of the ANC. To my mind that would be a far more cohesive and believable explanation for him being offered “asylum” in this country, for, shall we say, “services rendered”?

Anyway, something to mull over I thought was worth mentioning.

  18. OJ Says:

The Yewtree Report contains no evidence it is just a list of allegations and those compiling that list have said as much yet have still pronounced Savile guilty as alleged.

I’m still keeping an open mind but I’m willing to look at any credible evidence (and I discount that other professional self appointed ‘child protection expert’ Mark Williams Thomas ITV show as totally lacking in credibility and cannot understand why no-one in the media questions his exagerations about his police career- 9 in uniform and 1 as DC but never in charge of any investigation).

This is a serious matter and children’s lives are sancrosant and the truth of the Savile claims must be exposed for all to see , for if true, this must never happen again.

The NSPCC is an empire building entity that scoops up millions of pounds each year to pay executive’s over-blown salaries and suspect advertising campaigns. For them to have even had any imput into the Savile ‘investigation’ is a disgrace and highly suspect.

As to Mr Spivey’s allegations about the terrorist I have three words :
    PRIVATE EYE MAGAZINE.

They will take notice and publish the story and it’s ofen the first port of call when the tabloids ignore you. Good luck.
